The "Día de Muertos" backgammon is inspired from the Mexican celebration known as the Day of the Dead.   In Mexican culture death is embraced and the lives of passed on loved ones are celebrated rather than mourned. The festive sugar skull is an incredible detailed design and it is a tasteful and respectful interpretation of the traditional art form.
