Saint Eirini

Saint Eirini: lived in the 4th century. She wa from Magedon ,daughter of the local king. Her original name was Penelope but when she became a christian she was baptized Eirini. The christian tradition says that she was very beautiful and smart and very religious. In the end, Eirini went all the way to Efessos, continuing her work there ,teaching about christianity with great passion until the end of her life. The Orthodox church named Eirini as Saint and christians celebrate her memory on the 5th of May.
